This cross platform AR activation promotes Liam Payne's brilliant single 'Stack it Up'.  A collaboration between Augmented Reality Design Studio,  Ant Hagan of Aug IT UK and Facebook Creative Shop bought 2 effects to both Facebook and Instagram.  The first being inspired by Liam's music video, giving the user the chance to immerse themselves in the moment and place themselves (where ever they are in the world) in Liam's video.  The second effect is a fun, interactive physics driven pinball game where users can compete and share their high scores with one another, a highly shareable tactic that is one of the first of its kind.
For the pinball game version of this AR effect Marc used the MatterJS physics library allowing us to achieve realistic interactions between the ball, the flippers and the bumpers. We also added a head rotation based table tilt style mechanic.
